Iron Maiden was the Metallica of rock before there was a Metallica. I mean that they were scary for the casual fan to approach. Maiden was some of the heaviest stuff around in the early 80's. They also had a lunatic skeleton mascot named Eddie on their album covers.

In 1982 added new drummer Nicko McBrain to the band. They also released their classic third album, "The Number of the Beast." Nicko had not quite joined the band as of the making of this album. Today is his 62nd birthday, so let's celebrate with a look at playing "Run to the Hills" with Iron Maiden on today's Brizz Record Bin.
