I've been blessed with good neighbors most of my life. I think that really helps make a great neighborhood. Sometimes, they aren't so great. That makes things difficult. The worst is a person on the block that you are constantly battling with. Unfortunately, things can get very ugly and even violent.

Argument Over Barking Dog Turns Deadly In Illinois

The incident happened in Lovington, Illinois. A resident named Michael Peck received a fine for his dog. Apparently, his neighbor had called the police on him. Peck argued that his neighbor made the dog bark all the time.

For the next few days, things got ugly between the two neighbors. Lots of arguments and threats. All along, neither of them left their own yard.

Late one night, Peck got really drunk. He was fuming. That's when he decided to confront his neighbor so he stomped over. The guy was sleeping but was awoken by Peck shouting. He grabbed a large knife from the kitchen and went to the front door.

Then Peck dragged him to the ground. That's when the neighbor stabbed him several times. Peck stumbled back to his home. A little while later, his wife found him dead in the kitchen. She called the police and they arrested the neighbor.

It's really sad that they couldn't commute and just be nice to each other.
