Even if it doesn't last forever, there is something special between a couple when they're in a relationship together. Those titles of boyfriend or girlfriend mean something. There's something still there after a break-up.

Of course, there are bad break-ups and horrible relationships. Some people are just not meant to be together. Even so, there are certain boundaries that you shouldn't cross when the partnership ends because there needs to be respect.

What this Illinois man did to his girlfriend is unforgivable. They appeared to have a good relationship at the time. The pair was still together when this incident went down. Plus, the guy was older and an attorney, so he should've known better.

The suspect stole the identity of his girlfriend at the time. That's what makes this even crazier. They were still together. In just two years, the man took out over $82,000 in loans under her name. A good chunk of that went to buy a $43,000 car.

It gets even worse. This guy has stolen over $845,000 total from other victims and businesses. Luckily for the police, these types of thieves are pretty easy to arrest and convict for their crimes. He's not going to like jail.

According to Fox in Illinois, "A former Glendale Heights attorney is headed to prison after prosecutors said he used his girlfriend’s identity to take out fraudulent loans, including one for a luxury car."
