IL Pet Owners Embrace Halloween With Creative Dog & Cat Costumes
Kids and adults aren't the only ones enjoying Halloween; including getting dressed up and eating sweet treats, some pets in Illinois also like to participate in the festivities.
There Is A Special Event In Illinois That Is A Way For Pets To Celebrate Halloween
Since we are now in October, it is officially the spooky season. I've been thinking about Halloween from when I was growing up. From what I can remember, the holiday was mostly for children. There were some parties for adults, but the celebration has really amped up. You can find Halloween festivities for the whole family, even your pets.

Of course, if you have a pet, it's part of your family. Now, your dogs and cats are more welcome in public to hang out with you. Some people even enjoy dressing up their animals in costumes for Halloween. We tried with our cats throughout the year, but they weren't having it. There are even some big pet costume contests out there in Illinois.

From the Queen of England to a furry taco, from Dorothy and Toto to dinosaurs from Jurassic Bark, over 350 doggies and their people, will don their most elaborate costumes for the 38th annual Streeterville Doggy & Kitty Halloween Party, on Saturday, October 31, hosted at the MCA Sculpture Garden!
One of the biggest pet-related Halloween events each year is the 39th Annual Streeterville Doggy & Kitty Halloween Party. It is actually being held on Halloween (October 31st) from 9am to 11am. The event is happening at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. It will benefit PAWS Chicago. Even if you don't own a pet or yours isn't a willing participant, the fun is open to everyone.
