Wahlburgers Restaurant Set To Open An Hour Outside Of Rockford

Hooray, we're getting a new burger joint in Illinois and it's kind of sort of close to Rockford.

From the sound (and look) of things, it's worth the drive too.

I mean, the restaurant, Wahlburgers, has a show based on its name, so you already know it's probably worth the drive. The restaurant is owned by chef Paul Wahlberg in partnership with his two brothers, Donnie, and Mark who I'm sure you're aware are huge superstars.

I haven't even mentioned the food yet. Yelp! reviewers call Wahlburgers their "new favorite burger spot" while others say the food "is pretty good here not remarkable but pretty good."

Regardless, the opening of a Wahlburgers in St. Charles is a big deal and it appears the restaurant cleared a massive hurdle in June. Now it's officially official.

Wahlburgers is set to open in the first quarter of 2019 in St. Charles at the corner of Route 38 and Randall Road.
