One of my favorite places to go as a kid was Taste of Chicago. The food just blew me away. Then many of the other towns around the city began to have their own "tastes." Of course, the number of food festivals began to rise in Illinois. I'm a big fan of the food, so I was all good with that. A different one to hit every weekend. It just makes sense because Illinois is one of the best foodie states in the entire United States.

A new food festival is coming to Illinois this summer. It's The Big Grill Fest Chicago on August 29th and 30th from noon to 10pm at Wrightwood Park. This tasty event is for the whole family. This is a world-famous festival held in Europe each summer, and they're bringing it to the United States for the very first time in Chicago. If you plan on attending, I highly suggest coming with an empty belly.
