Kate Foster, battled leukemia in 2011, lost her leg, but hasn't stopped being an incredible athlete.

Kate Foster, I hope that this article reaches you so I can thank you for being such an inspiration to so many in Rockford, the world and me.

I often find myself thinking, I can't do things I used to because I'm older now, I'm not as strong as I used to be. That's bologna! I can do anything. Kate, because of you and your story, I feel like I can do anything.

Kate is an extraordinary person. She explains her battle with leukemia in this video below from the Crossfit Games in 2012.

I told you she was incredible!

Here is a video from Facebook that shows Kate competing in a gymnastics competition in St. Charles.

Kate you are an inspiration to all of us and a fantastic role model to young girls.

If you know Kate, please pass this along to her. I would love the opportunity to meet her and celebrate just how awesome she is!
