Rockford Man Gets Lucky on Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th doesn't always mean it's an unlucky day.

I've never won big, nor have I ever thought Friday the 13th was a lucky day. One lucky man can now say he is a winner, on the luckiest of his days.

Rockford resident Tom Brown won $200,000 on a scratch off lottery ticket earlier this month on Friday, March 13.

According to WTVO, Tom Brown purchased the lucky 'Vegas' ticket at the Schnucks on East State. He purchases one instant ticket a week, but this one he won the $200,000 prize on the $5 instant ticket.

What will he do with all the money? He's going to Disney World!!! (That's what everyone does right?)

He will be celebrating in Florida with his wife, two children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and Mickey Mouse.

Way to go Tom! Congratulations!
