St. Patty's Day weekend was wild, and with St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, this whole work week will be filled with hangovers.

This weekend was intense. I had plans to go out with a few of my girlfriends in order to celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend and the fact that us girls all had a weekend off.

The shenanigans we had were great! First, yummy food, then tasty drinks and then one big high heeled dance party at the dive bar. No big bash is complete without loads of carbs and cheese before bed. It's what saved us from our hangovers.

But, not every night out goes as planned. Hangovers are the absolute worst and many of us have our own secrets on how to handle them. Mine? Pizza and more water than you can imagine.

But what about Wednesday? I can't get a pizza delivered to me before 6 a.m. when I leave to go to work? How in the world am I going to get to work with a hangover after St. Patrick's Day hangover free without pizza! SureCompressor.com comes to the rescue with ways to have a kick ass day at work, even with a hangover. Here are some of the tried and true methods.

1. Don't Skip Your Morning Shower

Trust me on this one. Nothing is worse than smelling like leftover beer and Jagerbombs the next day. You may not be able to smell it, but your co-workers will! Make sure to wash that long hair too. It probably stinks of spilled wine. Even if you decided to skip the traditional shower, throw your hair in a pony tail, spray it with hairspray and wash off with a soapy rag.

2. Get Military Grade Reinforcements

There is a powder that you can buy called DripDrop that has tons of sodium and electrolytes as other hangover cures. It is even used by US Special Forces to combat dehydration. It's almost as if you have your own personal IV drip all day.

3. Stall For Time By Offering to Get Your Boss Coffee

Ah, this is genius! Does your boss love one of those fancy caramel bombs from Starbucks? Call your boss 15 minutes before you are supposed to arrive at work. Even if they say no, they may cut you some slack for showing up a little late. If they say yes, grab it, and a protein packed breakfast for yourself too! The protein will help you stay full and less queasy.

4. Don't Sit on A Backward Bus or Train Seat

Seriously, you are having enough trouble keeping your eyes open and the room from spinning. Get it together!

5. Know When The Earliest Retail Stores Open

This is a must. Know exactly how early you can get to the nearest pharmacy for pain reliever or how quickly the shoe store opens. Ya know, because you lost your shoe at the bar last night.

6. Work Standing Up

Promise this will keep the room from spinning.

7. Volunteer to Pick Up Lunch

It's time to load up on some more protien. Plus, if you go out to get lunch, you will get at least 20 minutes to grab food. Half of those minutes are spent taking a quick nap in your car, than actually ordering and picking up the food. BONUS: Order the food online, get to establishment, pick it up, get an extra five minutes of napping.

8. Stock Up On Sprite

These little flavor bubbles work wonders. I promise it will get that nasty stale beer taste out of your mouth and will make you feel better. As the original article states, "clear sodas reduce acetaldehyde levels in your system, which is the enzyme that causes hangovers. So ignore the nutrition labels, and bring on the bubbly."

Cheers, and here's to having another on a work night!
