A hockey player from Roscoe has re-signed for next season with the Rockford IceHogs.

Rockford IceHogs player, Josh McArdle, grew up in Roscoe, Illinois. He started playing hockey for the Jr. IceHogs and Rockford Icemen.

If you're now familiar with his story, check it out HERE.

There's good news for the state line athlete.

According to IceHogs.com,

"The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs today announced they have agreed to terms with defenseman Josh McArdle on one-year AHL contract that run through the 2019-20 season."

If you see him around this summer, make sure to congratulate him. I look forward to watching him more next season.
