A hockey player from Roscoe, Illinois is living his dream as a member of the Rockford IceHogs.

I remember when I started playing football as a kid. I dreamed about playing for the Chicago Bears. Of course, that was a long shot at best.

Josh McArdle grew up in Roscoe. His family is season ticket holders for the Hogs. He played youth hockey in the program that is now the Junior IceHogs. Josh was also a member of the Rockford Icemen.

He hoped to someday play professional hockey for Rockford.

The hard work paid off. He had is debut with the IceHogs on Sunday in Iowa.

I had the opportunity to talk with McArdle. If you missed the interview, you can check it out right now.
