If there was a band that embodied the phrase 'rock 'n roll excess,' Aerosmith would be as good as any. Releasing their first album in 1973 before imploding in the late 70s/early 80s only to resurrect again in 1986 thanks to a collaboration with the rap group Run DMC. After that they released 'Permanent Vacation' and have been going strong since. It's no secret that the drugs and fame took a toll on the band. It's almost a miracle that they press on with the original five members.

Their third album 'Toys in the Attic' is their masterpiece. Truly an album that kicks no matter where you drop the needle. 'Walk This Way', 'Sweet Emotion,' the hilarious 'Big Ten Inch Record', 'No More No More', etc. Today marks the twenty-second anniversary of the band's $10,000 donation to a controversial art exhibit at M.I.T. So in honor of their love of 'salty' art, we're went with 'Uncle Salty' on today's Brizz Record Bin. Crank it up.
