Petition Wants Trump to Permanently Move Halloween To Last Saturday in October
Halloween is always the last day of October.
Sometimes that means it falls on a weekday. This year it happens to be on a Wednesday.
One group wants to change that.
The Halloween and Costume Association has created a petition on change.org that is asking President Trump to change celebrating Halloween on the last Saturday of October.
The reason for wanting to move the holiday is to be able to celebrate longer, stress-free, and safer.
They have set a goal of 35,000 signatures. As of Sunday night, they had 26,621 sign the petition.
