Illinois Lawmaker Fundraiser Included a Fake Trump Assassination

Illinois Sen. Martin Sandoval is apologizing according to The Blaze after photos surfaced from his fundraiser event.

In these photos there was a fake presidential assassination, where a man is pointing an assault weapon at someone decked out in a President Trump costume.

After getting busted doing this at his $250 per ticket event, here was the senators official "apology":

"The incident that took place is unacceptable. I don't condone violence toward the President or anyone else. I apologize that something like this happened at my event." - Illinois Sen. Martin Sandoval
