According to scientists, cheese triggers the exact same part of the brain...as cocaine. Oh crap, am I addicted? STANDARD

I do in fact love cheese...It enhances everything you are currently about consume, oh wait...that sounds familiar. Shoot...Damn you scientists.

If you feel like you are hooked on cheese there is a really good reason according to "science."

"If properties of some foods are associated with addictive eating for some people, this may impact nutrition guidelines, as well as public policy initiatives such as marketing these foods to children. This could help change the way we approach obesity treatment. It may not be a simple matter of 'cutting back' on certain food, but rather, adopting methods used to curtail smoking, drinking and drug use." - Study author Erica Schulte

So you're saying my consuming of cheese needs to be met with therapy, or maybe a 12 step program? Dang, man.

According to this study, the average person eats 35 lbs of cheese a year. Dude, that seems like an awful lot. Or is it...

So the science on this whole cheese/cocaine thing...goes like this.

In milk, casein has a minuscule dosage. A pound of cheese, takes 10 pounds of milk. That's a lot of casein. So if you eat a grilled cheese, you're getting WAY MORE casein than in the am when you drink the milk after your Fruit Loops. You will get the need fixed, you'll scratch that cheese itch...You cheese addict.

Cheese is very addictive, says science...Call me a junky.
