Could this be a new trend at shopping malls in Illinois, where the mall charges customers a fee to park in their parking garage, I sure hope not.

Popular Shopping Mall In Illinois Now Charges Customers To Park

I feel like I'm getting nickel-and-dimed to death. It's happening everywhere, but especially in Illinois. "They" say it's just a small fee or a slight increase, but it all adds up after a while. Here is the latest. The Fashion Outlet of Chicago, which is a mall in Rosemont, is starting to charge its customers to park. Are you kidding me? They are coming to your mall to spend money, and you want to charge them to park? That's ridiculous, especially with all the competition out there, and malls going out of business. That's a good way to lose customers.

They are giving you the first hour free. Oh gee, thanks. Unless you have a specific task in mind, who is going to be there for less than an hour? Here are the fees. 1 to 3 hours is $13, 3 to 12 hours is $20, and 12 to 24 hours is $50. Oh yeah, you can get your parking fee validated as long as you are there for 1 to 3 hours and spend a minimum of $100. Hopefully, this doesn't become a trend.
