Here’s How You Can Still Get ‘Kate’s Pie Shop’ Pies

Earlier this year news broke that the famous Kate's Pie Shop would be closing their retail location's doors. However, the sad news did not mean it was the end for Kate's pies. Kate's Pie Shop & Cafe and Magpie are teaming up to sell pies under the Magpie name.

Kate's  Pie Shop's Facebook page details -

We have closed our cafe and will taking the month of May off while we restructure and move into our online local pie business; Kate's Great Pie. We shall keep our website, and Facebook updated and will keep the same phone number. This is not good-bye, see ya soon

But fear not! Kate is revamping her business as Kate's Great Pies which will be all online. Her pies will still be available at Magpie, located in downtown Rockford, which is scheduled to open May 1.

They say all good things must come to an end, but we're so happy Kate's Pie Shop is just taking a little time off. We can't wait to have a slice of pie soon!
