Gun Store in Marengo Broken Into

Burglars made a smashing entrance in Marengo, IL.

Marengo Guns, 20014 E. Grant Highway Marengo, IL was broken into, and guns are missing.

According to Northwest Herald, three maybe four people broke through the doors of the firearms store early in the morning, and now there are weapons missing. The security alarm sounded but not before the thieves made off with several guns.

Shop owner, Dominic DeBock said:

"We experienced an attempted burglary about a year ago and made security improvements following that. These guys were just quite a bit slicker. Hopefully we can recover fast. The most important thing is to keep these people off the street.”

Security camera footage from the store and nearby stores, will hopefully help identify and catch the thieves, and get these weapons back.
