Whoa! Dustin Diamond’s Abandoned Wisconsin Home Is A Sad Sight To See
Saved By The Bell has a special place in many elder millennials' hearts, myself included. Dustin Diamond, who played the role of Screech Powers, is included in that spot. As you can imagine, when he began making appearances on Insurance King television ads, which were filmed in Rockford, Illinois, it was kind of exciting.
I had a few interactions with the child star and none were negative despite how awkward I may have been. Diamond has personal struggles and financial hardships along the way after the 90s teenage sitcom and, sadly, in January 2021 he announced he had been diagnosed with stage-4 lung cancer. He died a few weeks later.
Port Washington, Wisconsin
Dustin Diamond owned a home in Port Washington, Wisconsin (at 124 Grandview Drive) which is north of Milwaukee on the bank of Lake Michigan. Records show he purchased the house in 2003 but defaulted on the property around 2019. The house eventually went on the market and it was clear he up and left. This inside was left sad and dirty, but also full of interesting items.
A Wisconsin woman was able to do a walk-through of the house prior to being sold, which apparently happened recently. One can only imagine the smell throughout the deserted home.
The home was full of stuff, dare I say junk, and not well maintained.
Trash littered anything with a flat service.
Dustin Diamond also owned a lot of Halloween-esque decors.
One of the bathrooms in the home was left in a disgusting manner. Why is there easy cheese in there?
It also appears as though he had a yet-to-be-trained pet in the home.
One report says the home experienced a burst water pipe. But, regardless, it's hard to imagine the new owners don't gut the inside completely if not demolish the home altogether.
Here are a few photos of the home after it had been cleaned out.
