A man in Illinois was arrested after he let his two-year-old son drive his car.

I think a father's bond with his children is very important. I remember as a kid, when my dad let me do things that my mom wouldn't. For example, he allowed me to go down the big side at the park when I was little. Mother would always say no.

Of course, that doesn't mean to let your child do anything they want so you have a special moment. Especially, if it's a dangerous situation. I would include letting a kid too young drive your car. Even if they're on your lap with no car seat.

Police were called to a neighborhood in Shorewood because of a driver causing a disturbance. Apparently, the car was driving through the streets suspiciously, honking the horn over and over, yelling out the window, and jamming loud music.

When the police arrived, they pulled over the vehicle. Out popped a man who was carrying his 2-year-old son. They were cruising around the block with the kid driving while sitting on his dad's lap. Wow, that's not too dangerous.

The dad didn't think it was a big deal putting his child in danger like that. It's no surprise that the man has several previous arrests on his record. I'm guessing he won't be nominated for father of the year.

According to Patch in Illinois, A Joliet criminal offender who now makes Shorewood his home was arrested this past weekend after Shorewood Police Chief Phil Arnold said 39-year-old Matthew Nero let his 2-year-old son drive his car, honk the horn and play loud music.
