Chicago White Sox New Menu Items for 2016 Season

Let's go, go, go White Sox! This upcoming season will be filled with new and fantastic menu items at U.S. Cellular Field.

Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I have no other allegiance as strong as I do for the Chicago White Sox.

I've been to more games than I can count, I've had my fair share of tasty beverages in the Bullpen Sports Bar and have ate more nachos and peanuts than humanly possible.

I love the Chicago White Sox.

Each year, I get more and more excited about what delicious new menu items will be coming to the ballpark. 2016 may have the best menu yet!

This year, according to the Chicago Tribune, there will be a handful of new menu items for the 2016 season. They include:

Merkt’s Cheddar Beef Sandwich: Thinly sliced rib-eye steak mixed with Merkts cheese. Served on a hoagie roll with pico de gallo made from Chicago hot dog toppings.

Bacon Cheddar Pretzel Dog: Vienna all-beef hot dog on a pretzel roll bun. Topped with nacho cheese and bacon.

Tator Tachos: Imagine nachos and tator tots having a baby nestled inside of a green White Sox plastic helmet. enough said.

Hooters Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: A hand-breaded chicken breast in buffalo sauce served on a brioche bun with lettuce and tomato.

Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls (Suite Level): Buffalo chicken never tasted so good until it was put inside a crispy fried eggroll!

Colossal Chocolate Chunk Cookie Sundae (Suite Level): Anything combining cookies, chocolate and ice cream together is alright with me.

'Hard' Rootbeer/Orange Floats (Suite Level): Your favorite childhood beverage just turned 21-years-old.

Beggar's Pizza New Options: Mmmm, Beggar's Pizza. It's the place down the street that everyone from high school worked at after school for good reason. The pizza is incredible. New at the ballpark will be Italian Beef and Giardiniera and BBQ Chicken Pizza.

I can not wait to get to U.S. Cellular Field to taste all the ballpark has to offer. Which item are you looking forward to trying most?
