Chicago Sports History Was Made 37 Years Ago Today [NSFW]

To be VERY clear, this is not safe for work or anyone with sensitive ears. 

Conversely, it's a MUST listen for anyone that loves a good rant.

On April 29, 1983, the Cubs lost to the Dodgers during a day game at Wrigley. The team's record dropped to 5-14, last place in the National League East. After the game Cubs manager, Lee Elia, absolutely lost it in his office.

Rumor has it that one of the less than 10,000 fans in attendance tossed a beer onto the field that hit outfielder Keith Moreland. This did not please Elia and felt he had to stick up for his guys.

What followed is 3 minutes of some of the filthiest (and funniest) string of consciousness that's ever been uttered by a professional manager.

There are about 20 outstanding quotes from the tirade but unfortunately, I can't put any of them in this blog.
