April 1st is Cheap Trick Day in Illinois

In 2007, Illinois lawmakers declared April 1st of every year Cheap Trick Day.

This is a big year for our hometown heroes, Cheap Trick.

Cheap Trick is being inducted into the 2016 Class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in just over a week, their new album Bang, Zoom, Crazy... Hello is being released today, the band is out on an extensive 2016 tour and the original Cheap Trick line up will perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.

Wow. It's a giant year for Cheap Trick and today is their day.

Cheap Trick Day is a time to celebrate all things Cheap Trick.

The Illinois General Assembly declared April 1st Cheap Trick Day. Is it because we play Tricks on April Fools Day? I know, I just blew your mind.
