Rockford, Illinois, is known for many things, but right at the top of the list is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members and the Hometown Boys themselves, Cheap Trick.

It's officially Cheap Trick Day in Rockford and the state of Illinois, so that is a great reason to celebrate. They are one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time, and it's so cool they are from our hometown. It's been a while since they've played in town, so I thought I would go back and take a look at their concert history in the Forest City.

On October 11, 2007, the Illinois Senate passed a resolution declaring April 1 of each year “Cheap Trick Day” to celebrate the accomplishments of this great Illinois band.
