10 Questions With Daxx Nielsen of Cheap Trick

Another busy spring and summer is ready to roll for our hometown heroes.

Daxx Nielsen is like the Red Bull for Cheap Trick. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers got an instant jolt of energy when Daxx took over behind the drum kit and they have never sounded better.

Daxx is a great guy that simply enjoys life everyday. Growing up in a  Nielsen house full of musical instruments, Daxx gravitated towards the drums at a very early age. After high school Daxx traveled the US extensively with his original band, Harmony Riley.. When Harmony Riley called it quits Daxx packed up and moved to Los Angeles. His first break was drumming for surf guitar pioneer Dick Dale.

I had a chance to sit down with Daxx Nielsen for a little one on one to discuss the important parts of life. Music, parenting, and Rockford.
