How Are The Chicago Bears Ownership Not On This List?
The Chicago Bears have struggled for a long time so it's hard to believe they were put on this list of NFL owners.
The Worst Owners In The NFL
Basically, I've been a Chicago Bears fan my whole life. I was born into it. I started going to games in the late 1970s as a kid. My family got season tickets for Mike Ditka's first season as the head coach in 1982 and we've had them ever since.

I've been through the good times in the 1980s with the Super Bowl Championship and all the bad years. Sometimes they make it really tough to stay a fan but they're my team and I'll support them no matter what.

Even though I'm a long-time fan and season ticket holder, I'm not afraid to criticize the team when I believe they're doing the wrong thing. Myself and many followers had high hopes for this season. The Bears have been a total disappointment once again.
The good times have been few and far between over the course of many years. The team has repeatedly made bad decisions and hired the wrong people to represent the brand. Even with this ugly history, the Bears didn't make this list which is so surprising.
Recently, a list of the worst owners in the NFL was released and I was shocked to see the Bears not on that list though there are some pretty bad ones. I guess it doesn't matter how you finish the season as long as you're bringing in that money.
Here are the worst owners in the NFL.
- David Tepper (Carolina Panthers)
- Jimmy Haslam (Cleveland Browns)
- Woody Johnson (New York Jets)
- Dean Spanos (Los Angeles Chargers)
- Michael Bidwell (Arizona Cardinals)
- Mike Brown (Cinncinati Bengals)
