I think many drivers get tired of following the rules of the road, so they take it out on those poor signs. On Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office initially received a report of criminal damage to numerous road signs.
In the past week or so, approximately 40 road signs have been shot with shotguns and rifles along STH 179, CTH D, Hook Hill Road, Duha Ridge Road, CTH E, Progressive Ridge Road, and Crowley Hill Road in the Townships of Eastman and Seneca.
