Several years ago, I was going to a couple of concerts in Chicago with some friends. I left something in my car, so I went down to the parking lot to get it. As I was digging in my trunk, a man grabbed me from behind and held a knife to my throat. Luckily, I wasn't hurt and he just took the money out of my wallet. It was a very scary situation.

Recently, a Wisconsin man was driving through his Milwaukee neighborhood when out of nowhere an armed robber approached his vehicle while he was sitting at a stoplight. The thief ordered the victim out of his car and demanded the keys. He stole all of his personal property including something that was very important to him.

Wisconsin Man's Dog Stolen During Carjacking

The victim had his pet Havenese Dog named George who was only ten months old with him on the short car ride. The thief decided to take the poor puppy too during the carjacking. Besides the stolen car and dog, the suspect also grabbed his wallet, sunglasses, and a couple of other things. The item the driver really cared about was his best friend.

A couple of hours later, the local police found the stolen vehicle abandoned just a few miles away from the scene of the crime. Unfortunately, the search for the dog lasted longer. The victim had posted all over social media about his missing dog. Two days later, he received a message from a woman who didn't live too far away. She spotted the puppy and rescued him. He was safe and sound. It's great to have a happy ending to this scary story.
