Different Kinds Of Amusement Parks

I do not know about you but when I think of an amusement park, I imagine a place like Six Flags Great American. Actually, they do not always have to be a huge facility like that one. There are plenty of smaller ones out there, especially in Wisconsin. They have little places for tourists and locals to spend some time with their families.

Unfortunately, not all of them stay in business because of all the competition in the family fun world. This is the perfect example. It was a place called Vacationland Funpark in Wisconsin.

Background On Vacationland Funpark

Vacationland Funpark was located in Crivitz, Wisconsin. The activities available were Go-Karts, Bumper boats, miniature golf, Paintball, Bumper cars, arcade, Ice Cream Shop, and play area.

I actually found their old website, HERE. The last thing promoted was the upcoming 2016 season. The park has two reviews on Yelp from 2017, HERE. They received a 5 and a 4-star review. That is pretty good.

I am not exactly sure when it went out of business but this certificate is from 20216 and shows the rides were inspected in 2015.

For an abandoned place, it does not look too bad. I think someone could come in and clean it up to re-open.
