Week four of NUIC Football is in the books.

Du/Pec drew a large crowd and shutout Orangeville 10-0 to go to 3-1 on the season. The Rivermen was led by Trenton Taylor who had 132 yards rushing and a touchdown. For the Broncos Garret Rodebaugh went over the 3,000 rushing mark for his career. He had 94 yards rushing.

Lena-Winslow rolled over Dakota 46-14. Sean Ormiston racked up 186 rushing yards and a a pair of touchdowns for the Panthers. Forreston had no problems with A/FC 48-8. Dom Christensen scored three TD's. Aquin beat East Dubuque 39-7 as Ty Stykel had 157 yards rushing and four touchdowns for the Bulldogs. West Carroll drubbed Amboy 36-7. Stockton shutout Galena 26-0. Jason Hermann rushed for 131 yards and a pair of TD's. And E/PC edged Milledgeville 20-12.

Nine of eleven in our media picks all were a perfect 7-0. Kyle Kampmier of NUIC Football Fanatics/Freeport Journal Standard and Scott Leber WTVO TV are the co leaders at 26-2 overall.

Outside of the NUIC. In 8 man football Ridge Ridge whipped last years State runner up Aldren-Hebron 58-0. Polo on Saturday beat Elgin Westminster 56-0 and now are unbeaten in four outings. Warren/Blackhawk beat Scales Mound/Benton 33-6 to stay unbeaten at 5-0 and the top ranked team in Wisconsin Division 7.
