Frustration Over Speed Limit Sparks Vandalism In WI
A Wisconsin man is unhappy with the speed limit changes in his town, so he found a way to protest the situation.
Speed Limit Change Angers Wisconsin Man
I would say it's a safe bet that most people are creatures of habit and don't like change. They prefer for things to stay the same. Especially, if it directly affects their daily life. Oh don't worry, they will let you know about their dissatisfaction over the situation.

I believe one of the most frustrating parts of the majority of people's days is their commute to and from work. All you want to do is get to your destination, but there are so many distractions to make you run late and spend way too much time in the car.
I remember many years ago, my hometown changed the speed limit on many streets, making the drivers go slower. The residents got really angry about the adjustments. They swarmed the city hall meetings every week to express their anger to the city leaders.

In the Wisconsin town of Kronenwetter, the residents got really upset about a similar problem. The city lowered the speed limit from 55 to 45 in an area where the road has several areas where it's hard to see other drivers.
According to WSAW...
"Everybody can be, and has a right to be, upset over the speed limit change, but we just ask that if you have that displeasure, please come to the Village Board meeting," Kronenwetter Police Chief Terry McHugh said. “Voice your displeasure, be heard that way as opposed to ripping out the signs.”
The local police are looking for a suspect who tore many of the new speed limit signs right out of the ground. I'm assuming this is their way to protest the changes. It seems kind of childish. There's a much more adult way to handle it.
