The 5 Most Unique Bloody Marys You Need to Try Next Time You’re in Wisconsin
I may not be a Bloody Mary drinker, (tomato juice and I do not get along), but most of my family members are, so I know there are a lot of bars in Wisconsin that take their Bloody Mary recipes to the NEXT level.
For instance, the lodge at the lake my family's cabin is on in Wisconsin features a "Dump Run" Special on Sunday mornings. (Sundays are the day every lake 'weekender' takes their garbage to the Dump, LOL!) It not only fills your 'hair-of-the-dog' needs, but you can also walk in and fill your Bloody gas with enough sides and garnishes to skip your lunch meal, plus you get a side chaser of beer. This example may be typical of most bars in Wisconsin, but there are a few bars that take it even further than that according to travelwisconsin.com.
The Most Unique Bloody Marys in Wisconsin
Travel Wisconsin recently featured an article about the 9 best places to get truly unique Bloody Marys in the state, but I think we need to zero in on just 5 of the bars they highlighted. I think these pictures explain why...
CT's Deli in Rhinelander, Wisconsin - Their Lunchbox Mary feeds 2-4 people and comes with beer chasers for everyone who shares it.
Rum Runners in Green Bay, Wisconsin - This bar is home to one of the best Bloody Mary bars in the entire state, and I think this pic explains why.
County Clare Irish Pub in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - This traditional Irish pub features its own twist on a Bloody Mary called a 'Bloody Máire' which includes a splash of Guinness and Irish whiskey.
Buckley's Restaurant and Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - If you love bacon and your bloodys on the less than spicy side, give Buckley's 'Bacon Bloody' a try...it features vodka that's infused with bacon and peppercorn!
Cafe Hollander in Madison, Wisconsin - With several Bloody Mary's on the menu to choose from Cafe Hollander's claim to fame is either their 'BBB Bloody Mary' which is a Southern take on the original cocktail with bourbon and BBQ sauce, or its 'Belgian Michelada' which includes tequila.
