This creepy story is definitely showing up during the right time of year, close to Halloween. It's very strange how that happens. This incident feels like it came straight out of a horror movie, which is kind of scary. It sort of reminds me of the box scene in the movie "Seven."

The police in Illinois were called to a neighborhood in Chicago about a suspicious suitcase. There are so many bad scenarios that could come up in a situation like this one, so they have to use extreme caution.

When the officers opened the abandoned suitcase, they were very surprised to find the decomposed remains of a human body inside. Disturbing as this is, now the police work must really begin to find out the identity of the victim and the killer.

A death investigation was underway after human remains were found in a suitcase Friday morning in Chicago's South Lawndale neighborhood.

 

Around 11:55 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the 3300 block of South Kedzie Avenue near the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, Chicago police said.

 

There, officers located a green suitcase and inside it found a “badly decomposed” body of an unidentified male, according to police reports.
