A Thief In Illinois Got Stuck In A Ventilation System During A Robbery
I often wonder why people put themselves in certain situations, especially if it gets dangerous. I'm guessing that many criminals in Illinois are very confident in their stealing ability, but of course, they've got no skills. Otherwise, I can't think of a logical reason why they would try to pull off some of these jobs. Maybe they think it looks good on paper, so what do they have to lose by giving it a try?
According to Fox 32 Chicago...
A suspected burglar ended up covered in grease and calling for help after police say he became stuck in a vent at a Waukegan brunch restaurant.

Our latest dumb criminal committing a stupid crime in Illinois from Waukegan. Our suspect was attempting to rob Liguez Brunch. This thief thought it was a great idea to pull a Santa Claus for this robbery. He crawled through the ventilation system to sneak into the building. Well, this genius got himself stuck on the way in. Luckily, he triggered the security alarm pretty much immediately, so after help was on the way. The owners and police both showed up before it was too late. After they freed the guy, he was trying to tell the officers that he was being chased and that's how he got away. No one believed that story.
