As a kid, I would love when the new Guinness Book of World Records was released. They would rarely really change, except for the cover of the book. The Sears Tower was always the tallest building, there were always the two fat guys on the motorcycles who I believe were the biggest twins or something, and the eight-foot tall guy from Alton, IL who was buried in a piano case. Maybe I'm mixing up my world record holders. Cut me some slack! It was a long time ago.

Nowadays, there is the Guinness TV program that showcases silly things that are not really records. They will show a guy breaking light bulbs with his forehead or something and call it a world record. Pfft! Come on! Just because the host has an English accent doesn't make it important, noble, or a world record.

Say hi to Blossom from Orangeville, Illinois. She is the latest world record holder and will be included in the 2016 Guinness Book of World Records. From what I can tell, I'd say she's about, oh.....16.1 hands tall.
