Rockford Will Be New Home to International Women’s Baseball Center

This is HUGE news for not only baseball fans, but Rockford Peaches fans, too!

A League of Their Own, one of my favorite movies of all time. Many in the Rockford area hold this movie dear as it features one of the greatest female baseball teams of all time, The Rockford Peaches.

For years, The International Women's Baseball Center has been in California, but it is now relocating it's headquarters to right here in Rockford according to WTVO.

Across from Beyer Stadium, a new headquarters housing educational, training, museum facilities for girls and women's baseball and more will be the center of attention.

In my own opinion, this is fantastic. What a better way to memorialize our very own Rockford Peaches than to have the center of Women's Baseball right here in Rockford. Outstanding!
