The Rockford metropolitan area covers a lot of ground in Illinois but what are some other great towns that make up this entire community?

Does Rockford Have Suburbs?

I was just having this discussion with a couple of my friends about this subject last week. Does Rockford have suburbs? It could be an interesting debate. Some people actually consider the Forest City a Chicago burb but I think it's too far away to count. It's one of the biggest cities in Illinois, so I believe that it does. I'm not sure how the residents of Belvidere would appreciate it but that's how it goes.

Since we have all these great small towns around and near Rockford, I wanted to know which ones the residents like the most. So, if a war broke out between Illinois and Wisconsin, we knew who to ask to become our allies. Of course, I did the survey in a very scientific way, with a social media poll.
