Think twice before breaking the law because just a simple crime can get you into some serious trouble in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Thief Gets Felony Charge After Small Robbery
I wasn't a perfect kid but I'm so happy that I didn't start a life of crime. I'll admit I was afraid of what my dad would do if I got arrested. Not only that, but I had no desire to go to jail. What's that old saying, "Don't do the crime if you ain't go the time."

Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way. Some people prefer making bad decisions. Nobody is perfect but that doesn't include becoming a criminal. That's just a stupid move with no future. Those folks much rather take a risk that won't way off.

Even the smallest crime can have some serious consequences for the suspect. Even after getting busted, many criminals will not learn their lesson. Given another chance, they'd go back and do it again without thinking twice.
This incident happened recently in Beloit at a convenience store. The suspect walked to around four in the morning. Remember, nothing good happens after midnight. The suspect must've been out partying late.
The thief walked up to the counter and asked the clerk for a pack of smokes and an energy drink. The total was $15.48. The suspect must've spent all his money on something else because his next move was pulling out a gun and aiming it at the poor victim.
I would like to think the robber said something clever like "I believe there will be no charge." I'm guessing he just took off. The cops were able to capture him. Now, he's facing a felony charge which could end up being forty years in jail. I wonder if the suspect thinks it was worth it now.
