When it comes to musical talent, it's tough to find a band that overflows with it more than prog-rock legends Yes. I kept their first five albums on my turntable at all times during a healthy part of my high school years. One highlight for me was meeting most of the members at Flipside Records in Hoffman Estates in 1989 during a 'meet and greet.' The first fifty people in line even scored a ticket to the show. I went with several friends to meet the guys and get our albums signed. However, this was during the line-up dubbed Anderson Bruford Wakeman and Howe. Those are four of the five members of the classic Yes line-up. Chris Squire was not there.

I was lucky enough to chat with Chris prior to a Yes tour in 2010. He was engaging, friendly, and open to talking about moving forward without vocalist Jon Anderson, the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and the 'good old days.' Oh, by the way me and my friends were numbers 51-56. I scored a $15 dollar ticket in the parking lot and they blew my mind with an incredible show.
