Local Band Transit Has New Documentary [VIDEO]

33 years ago, a group of guys got together in Freeport and Rockford to form the band Transit. This is their story.

Transit sits down with The Freeport News Network to do an exclusive documentary.

Transit was one of the biggest bands in the area in the 80's and 90's.

The documentary details how the band formed, their musical influences, coming up with their logo, promoting their shows and more.

The video features Mark May (drums), Mike May (bass), Carl Schwartz (guitar) and Curt Lewis (lead vocals).
