If you're going to get arrested for a DUI, then you might as well go all in, as this grandpa did in Illinois.

What Happens When A Drunk Grandfather Goes Through The KFC Drive-Thru

I don't think it ever hurts to throw this reminder out there, especially because it's the holiday season when people like to celebrate. It's pretty simple: don't drink and drive. If you're going to be partying, then get a ride. I believe it's much cheaper and safer to grab an Uber instead of your keys.

A man old enough to be your grandfather should've heard that advice. He was day drinking and decided it was a good time to get some food. The trip to the restaurant drive-thru did not go well.

According to Patch Joliet...

Arthur Vidmar, an 83-year-old Joliet man from the 700 block of Reed Street, remains in the Will County Jail facing four counts of aggravated driving under the influence following last weekend's crash on Larkin Avenue that injured a 67-year-old woman, who suffered a broken pelvis and three broken ribs.

At St. Joe's hospital, following a blood draw, Joliet police determined he was three times the legal limit to be drunk in Illinois, prosecutors outlined.

For now, Vidmar will remain in the Will County Jail and at 83 years old, he is one of the oldest inmates in the facility.
