KFC and Lifetime Teaming Up For Mario Lopez Movie About Colonel Sanders
2020 seems to have reared its head, and we're approaching the final boss of the year; a Mario Lopez movie from Lifetime, where he plays Colonel Sanders.
There's a trailer for the "A Recipe for Seduction", and the caption reads "A young heiress contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. When the handsome chef, Harland Sanders, arrives with his secret fried chicken recipe and a dream, he sets in motion a series of events that unravels the mother's devious plans. Will our plucky heiress escape to her wintry happily ever after with Harland at her side, or will she cave to the demands of family and duty?"
My favorite part of the trailer is one characters saying "Secret's out, chicken man!"
"A Recipe for Seduction" premieres Sunday at noon.
If you've payed attention to KFC commercials the last few years, they swap out the actor who is the Colonel, which has been played by Reba McEntire, Jim Gaffigan, Rob Riggle, and Ray Liotta, but the list just goes on and on. It would seem this is just an extended KFC commercial, what seems like the story of the company.
