Keep It Together When Meeting Celebrities

It's part of the business, meeting and mingling with celebrities from time to time. One thing you can never do is "lose it." You must keep it together. I didn't. I couldn't. It was Noah Hathaway.

I felt much like Paul Rudd and Jason Segel meeting Rush for the first time.

You are probably thinking to yourself, "who in the world is Noah Hathaway?"

He was my first crush, hero and Atreyu in the 1984 movie "The Never Ending Story."

I've seen this movie hundreds of times as a child and when the horse falls in the mud and young Atreyu saves its life, I cry.

While at Comic-Con in Chicago a few years back, he was one of the celebrities there. I was telling a friend Hannah all about how much I loved Noah Hathaway and what came next was a complete surprise.

While I was busy lollygagging around, Hannah made it a point to go and speak to Noah and tell him my entire childish love for him.

When I wasn't paying attention, Atreyu himself came up from behind me and gave me a huge hug. I just about died. I could not keep it together. Seriously look at my face!
