There was an RV with out-of-state license plates driving on I-55 in central Illinois. The vehicle was missing mud flaps, so a state trooper pulled it over. When the police officer did a check, the registration was found to be suspended. This guy deserved to get arrested for being a dumb criminal committing a stupid crime.

The Illinois State Trooper thought there was more to the situation so he called in a K-9 unit. The police dog discovered drugs. The contraband was packed so that it would be sold on the street. There were 76 pounds of cocaine worth $3 million. The suspect explained he was delivering the illegal cargo to a warehouse in northern Illinois.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and went to college at Illinois State. I would take I-55 to travel to and from school. That highway was famous for drug traffickers. I would see cops busting dealers all the time.
