This Is How Illinois Teachers Can Get Free Movie Tickets This Summer

There are so many perks to working in education.  One of them?  Getting free movie tickets for an entire month!

For a short while, I worked at a High School in my hometown as a Paraprofessional, but I didn't get any of the perks the teachers did because I didn't have a Teacher ID to prove I was working in education.  Kudos to teachers though, they have been through so many obstacles the past few years and those who stuck it out are absolute warriors!

A Theater company, Emagine Theaters, wants to show their appreciation to teachers around Illinois by offering FREE movie tickets just by presenting your ID.  It's that simple!

What's the catch? The theaters you'll be able to go watch movies at are Cinema Chatham in Chicago, IL and Emagine Frankfort in Frankfort, IL.

Free tickets are only valid for shows on Wednesdays, June 15, 2022-July 20, 2022 and teachers can attend a show any time before 5:00 p.m. You must buy tickets in person, you can't buy them online/in advance.  Makes sense since you have to show your ID to prove you're actually a teacher!

So, take advantage while this offers lasts!  Summer is approaching and school will be out soon, what better way to kick off your Summer than enjoying FREE movies with a large bucket of popcorn and a large Icee?

Teachers are ROCKSTARS and definitely underappreciated!  So, thank you to all the teachers out there with a passion to better the lives of students around the world.  You mean so much and are a major part of lives even beyond the classroom.
