Illinois Shoplifter Asks Cop For Drink From Stolen Booze

After he is arrested, a thief in Illinois asked the police officer who busted him for a drink of stolen booze.

I'm sure most police officers have some funny stories about people they had to arrest for doing dumb things. I think this one is a good example.

According to pjstar.com,

"Caught stealing from a liquor store, a thief asked police if he could drink his bottle of booze before heading to jail."

The suspect went into a liquor store, grabbed a bottle of alcohol, and shoved it down his pants. The store clerk asked him to pay for the merchandise but the suspect took off. The clerk caught him and they got into a fight. He got away from the employee but was spotted later by police. Before they arrested him, he asked if it would be okay to drink the stolen beverage. The cops denied his request. Off to jail, he went.
