Stealing coins out of vehicles in Illinois got a man arrested.

If you're going to take the time to steal something, at least make it worth the risk. Just say "no" to drugs, kids. They will make you do stupid things.

According to daily-chronicle.com,

"Genoa Police say a man suspected of breaking into cars and stealing loose change was found with drugs on his person."

"He was charged with burglary and possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a report of a man with a flashlight. When police arrived, they saw him driving his car and pulled him over. After searching him, police found a large amount of loose change in the pocket of his sweatshirt."

"He admitted to entering the vehicles when he saw loose change."

Use this as a lesson for what not to do with your spare time.
