An Adult In Illinois Was Arrested For Throwing Rocks At Cars

When I was growing up, my friends and I were definitely mischievous. We had no problem finding trouble. There was one good thing. We were all pretty lucky. We got away with a lot of things without getting busted by the local police.

We would plan sleepovers at friends' houses, where we knew we would be able to sneak out late at night after their parents went to sleep. We really did enjoy blowing things up with fireworks and having target practice with BB guns. We were dumb kids, so we didn't know any better.

There was a 59-year-old man who was recently arrested by the local police in Elmhurst. That dude is definitely old enough to know better than to try and pull dumb stuff like kids. Well, apparently, he isn't.

The suspect was arrested for throwing rocks at vehicles at the busiest intersection in his town, and he thought he would get away with it. I would consider that a dumb criminal committing a stupid crime. Cars are worth way too much money nowadays to get away with something like that, especially as an adult.

According to Patch...

A 59-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of North West Avenue was arrested about 4 p.m. Thursday on charges of criminal property damage, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer.

 

 

Police said he threw rocks at cars at Route 83 and North Avenue.

 

 

He ran away from officers, but was caught, police said, and was released.
