Scary Surprise For Illinois Family Returning Home Late At Night
It's kind of like a real-life Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation in Illinois, when a family came home and there was a stranger in their home, but it wasn't a girl sleeping in their beds.

Luckily, the last person out the door forgot to close and lock it. Since it was the back of the house, no one noticed it was left open. We were relieved that it wasn't a break-in. Not that we really have anything worth stealing.
A family in Joliet had a late-night pick-up at the airport. When they got home with their visitor, they noticed their front door was broken and open. As they searched the house, they ran into a stranger, and it wasn't Goldilocks. It was a burglar.

According to Patch...
A middle of the night burglary over the weekend on Joliet's Glenwood Avenue has resulted in the capture and Will County detention of 58-year-old Chicago native Darryl Jones.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 2:37 a.m. on Saturday, fellow officers responded to a home in the 2100 block of Glenwood Avenue for a burglary.
A man, later identified as Jones, was located inside the home after the residents returned home, English noted.
