Illinois Jewelry Thieves Are Pulling A Rough Move On Unsuspecting Victims
It's always amazing to me that there are so many copycats out there. Nobody has creative thoughts anymore. That happens all the time with crime. Thieves are hanging out in areas that are popular with tourists and visitors to the city. For example, the problem is now happening in Grant Park. People are enjoying themselves and not paying attention to their surroundings. That makes them easy targets for the bad guys.

These thieves are looking for people wearing nice necklaces and not paying attention. The suspects will run up to them and rip the jewelry right off their necks. It's an old school move that is unfortunately making a comeback.

According to NBC Chicago...
Chicago police issued a community warning after at several strong-arm robberies took place across in the popular and busy Grant Park area in broad daylight, with suspects snatching chains and jewelry.
According to the alert, eight similar robberies occurred at locations in and around the park, as well as in New Eastside and the Loop.
In each of the incidents, a suspect targets a lone, unsuspecting victim on park property and uses physical force to take something from the victim.
